Coolest Custom Trikes Across America

When people think “cool,” trikes are probably the last thing on their minds. We beg to differ. Companies and custom creators have made some of the most remarkable and stylish vehicles anyone will ever see on U.S. roads. These three-wheeled motorized behemoths have everything from sharp bodies and excellent handling to miraculous paint jobs. Some even have two to three seats with legroom. It does not get much better than that. Plus, it is way easier to balance on a trike than your average motorcycle, especially in bad weather. Look at it this way, being alive is trendier than stumbling over an unexpected speed bump. With all that out of the way, everyone should prepare for the coolest custom trikes across America.

Orange Glow Trike

The red and orange wheel and under-glow lights on this trike make it look incredibly futuristic. The sleek black paint with the red and orange glow simulates the feeling of having flames without the paint job. The engine is shown, and it has a beautiful silver metallic finish to it. The grey swivel bars are too much and create an in-flight feel. They too have a silver finish with a red stripe running through them. The body has a nice orange accent that makes the trike look so vibrant. It’s a custom trike, and the owner has even made himself a custom top.

Semi Power Trike

This trike looks like a whole lot of fun. This semi-truck styled trike has a really cool and unique look to it. The trike also features a cool design, which makes it stand out from the crowd. The chrome and black color scheme of the trike really shine through. The frame is also painted to look like a semi-truck. The wheels look a bit odd, and the chrome on them is very silver. The chrome on the trike’s frame really pops out. The trike features a large front grill with chrome detail.

Fiery Trike

The details on this trike is really well done and thought out. The flames on a black background look really good, but the addition of a yellow outline to the flames make the body look so much better. The black and yellow look very unique. The colors of this trike are overall really nice. The paint job is definitely enough to separate this trike from other trikes. The best part is that the silver of the wheel and engine is offset perfectly by the red and orange accent. The stripe is silver and not gold, so that balance is very well done.

Barghest Garmr Reverse Trike

This elite ride is hand-crafter from the fine folks over at Barghest, a partner of Harley Davidson. This reverse trike is more than a pretty face, it is an absolute HOSS. You hear this thing before you see it. Which make the visual even more impressive when you do finally see it because the angles on this thing are a sight. From the producers themselves, “Her 1200cc engine powers into corners, and it’s unique fully mechanical “motorcycle-like” leaning mechanism allows you to corner at incredible speeds giving you the ability to tear into and out of corners.”

The  High Roller

Not in the sense of someone who is rich, obviously. More in the sense of…yeah you get it. This is one of the weirdest trikes we’ve ever seen….but it’s real and as operational as any. The only true downside to this sweet trike (other than having to lift your arms to the handlebars the entire time) is the engine. Look closely. Having your engine right in between your legs as you ride is probably not the greatest idea? But hey, if it isn’t broken then don’t fix it.

Datsun Trike

Depending on how you feel about Datsun’s (and the opinions are quite varied), this could either be the best modulation or the worst. This sweet, classic sports car has been chopped and screwed into a modern-day trike. What do you think? Did the Datsun here get an upgrade or a downgrade? One important detail, if you look closely, is the handicapped parking sticker in the window! Imagine going to an Applebee’s and seeing on old dude wheel into the front parking spot and hop out of this thing? What a sight.

WWI Remake Trike

This cool trike looks just like what it’s replicating. This World War One styled trike is a huge success. The front-end is very similar to a motorcycle with the large handlebars, and the original steering wheel is mounted to the front. It’s beautiful, yet simple, with great detailing. The body is constructed out of aluminum and looks amazing. The frame and wheels are made from aluminum, and the owner of the trike was very careful to make the trike look as much like a World War One trike as possible.

Harley Davidson Trike

This Harley Davidson Trike got a paint job upgrade. The paint job makes the exterior of the trike look like it’s made out of wood. The Harley Davidson logo can be seen on the side of the trike. The frame is made out of aluminum and appears to be in incredibly good condition. The black and silver wheels are a nice contrast to the wooden paint job of the trike’s body. This trike is beautifully done and looks very unique. We give this trike two thumbs up for being both cool and unusual. We can’t say it’s the most unusual in this list. That’s coming up. If you like this trike, keep scrolling to see what’s coming up next!

Dual Everything Trike

They decided to go all out when building this trike. It has dual everything, including engines. You have to sit all the way in the back of this extra-long trike to ride it. It’s very unique, and that’s why it’s so cool.

The Dark Trike Rises

This trike is incredibly cool and really shows off how creative a person can get. It’s definitely a one of a kind.

A Poor Man’s Batmobile

This sweet trike definitely has a few things going for it. First, the creator blacked it out, which is always a positive. The second thing, it is a convertible (kind of?), and well, that’s about it. No, we are joking. This trike looks like so much fun. The best of both worlds is between a sports car and a homemade trike to feel that true freedom on the road. Speaking of true freedom, you have got to see the next one.

John Deere, John Doe & Jane Doe Trike

It looks like someone converted their tractor into a trike. The John Deere Logo and paint job on the body are amazing. It looks like you could get in the front end of the tractor and ride around the city in a trike. The green and the yellow paint job looks so unique and fits the frame so well. You could tell someone was a fan of the John Deere and actually made a trike just like it. They look so cool that you would definitely have to go out of your way to buy one.

The Asook 13 Trike

This is also referred to as the “Honda Gyro”. The Honda Gyro is a small, three-wheeled motorcycle sold primarily in Japan, and often used for delivery or express service. It’s a tilting three-wheeler and combines a tricycle’s stopped & low-speed stability with a leaning main-body for handling while turning at speed. The stock scooter features a small hinged rear pod containing the engine and two drive wheels, which Asook used as front end, and it’s powered by a 49 cc two-stroke engine with less than 5hp…

Santa Monica Trike

This trike has a sleek, black design. The trike is a lot of fun to look at. The frame is a bit bulky, but the trike is a fun looking trike. The trike features a front half of an MG and the back section of a Camaro. The handle brakes come from an 80s-era motorcycle. On the side, they have a decal of an eagle made of fire. If anyone in 2017 was looking for such a strange vehicle, they were in luck. The owner from Georgia put it up on Craigslist.

This trike is another cool one. This blue trike really stands out in a crowd of trikes, and it also has a really great design. The trike features a flat seat, and the body is painted in a metallic black color. The trike’s body is painted in black, but the front forks and the tires are silver. The engine of the trike is black, and it looks like the trike is missing a wheel, but that doesn’t look to be the case. The trike’s body is chrome, and it really stands out against the background of a black trike. The handlebars are also a silver color, and they look very cool.

Remember the 3×3 trike from a few slides back? Well, this one is its direct rival. We cannot decide which one we like best. Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This beautiful Chopper was created in the late 60s early 70s and was a huge hit. After some time its popularity fell but then in 2011 it was brought back and the popularity would gain again. This trike must have some serious grip on the drag strip. It seems like it could flip right over with enough power. We’ll give this two thumbs up for being both cool and unusual. Also, we’d love to drive it. Cobra Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This was one of the coolest and fastest trikes around for a very long time. The photo of Dick Allen’s Cobra trike was taken by Bruce Parrish. This could be a little scary driving behind at night. It looks like a frightened car coming right at you. How about that orange paint job with the cobra? There’s nothing cooler than putting a cobra on something. Except if your mom gets one on her lower back. Not cool. Not cool at all mom! Barn Find Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This trike looks like the devil child from a mixture of the movies Dracula and Ghost Rider. Seriously this looks like it’s used by the Adam’s family. For the dad that gets joy out of embarrassing their kids, this trike would be perfect to pick your kid up from school in. Seriously, what kid would not be embarrassed if their old man pulled up to school in this trike? If you like this trike, keep scrolling to see what’s coming up next!

Wild Man Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This trike has a massive crate engine that produces a lot of power and needs a lot of cooling for that massive motor. It does this by adding the rear mounted radiator that is built into the rear wing. Pretty clever if you ask us. It serves a dual purpose and gives this trike a unique look. We love the wheels and as always, orange is always good for a trike. If you like this trike, keep scrolling to see what’s coming up next!

Scorpion P6 Supertrike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! These cool looking trikes were created in Miami FL with superbike engines and Formula-1 style suspension. There’s no telling how fast this trike could go. It seems to have a fairly aerodynamic body and obviously a beast of an engine. The all black is pretty beastly too. It looks awesome to drive. Defiantly both cool and unusual. Also, obviously lightning fast. If you like this trike, keep scrolling to see what’s coming up next!

Death Trapp 3

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This trike was created mixing many junk metals along with a 50s model truck as the rear-end. This is cool. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Some of these trikes are unusual and some are cool. This one is both, but mostly cool. Although it might be a bit scary to come up behind this trike at night with it looking like a truck coming right at you. Something else that’s cool about this trike, you could probably recreate for a $100 at the junk yard. Or free. If you like this trike, keep scrolling to see what’s coming up next!

5 Wheel Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This is definitely one of the most interesting trikes on our list. From what we can tell, it was created by race reflections metal polishing and they decided to make a 5 wheel trike. We are not quite sure what the extra 2 wheels does other than an extra cosmetic feature here, but either way it’s unusual. In fact, it probably leans a little more to the unusual side than the cool side. Seriously. What is the point in those? Wait, can this even be considered a trike? Star Trek Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! When you can’t find a Star Trek themed motorcycle or trike, you have to just build one yourself. Which is what the owner of this cool nostalgic trike did here. Could you imagine flying through the galaxy on this bad boy? We have to say, this trike is pretty darn cool. Especially if you pull up to Comicon on it. It looks like there’s plenty of room for one or two guests to ride on it with you. If you like this trike, keep scrolling to see what’s coming up next!

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! In 1940 the creators of this If you like this cool looking trike received an order for a light trike style vehicle to support reconnaissance missions as well as mobile rifle units. There’s nothing like tracks if you want to go across any kind of terrain. This could go over rocks, through mud, up hills, there’s probably no stopping it. This could be pretty cool to drive. Definitely in our top 5 for driving fun. Coming up is another trike with tracks. If you like this trike, keep scrolling to see what’s coming up next!

German Military Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This crazy looking trike is a hybrid trike and tank combo that was created in 1946 for the German military. Frankenstein Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! Craig with Frankenstein Trikes created this beautiful monster of a trike. This crazy custom front-end trike is definitely one of the coolest trikes we have seen. One hidden benefit could be heat while you’re riding down the road in the winter. Which could also be miserable in the summer. This really is a strange trike that doesn’t make a lot of sense to us. If we had to pick a trike from this list to keep, let’s just say this would not be at the top of the list. If you like this trike, keep scrolling to see what’s coming up next!

Tractor Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! Is this thing a tractor or a trike, you be the judge. As someone that loves tractors and farming, this may be my favorite trike on here. If you could hook a plow behind that thing you could have a field ready in no time. You might need some bigger tires but I bet she’s got the power where it counts. So if you’re in the market for a tractor, consider just making your own tractor trike… If you like this trike, keep scrolling to see what’s coming up next!

Mean Machine Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This trike is one of the wildest pieced together trikes we have ever seen. Are those fuel tanks or NOS tanks on the back? This post has some pretty fast trikes, but this one may be the fastest with that NOS. Check out those little mud flaps in the back. I guess that’s so it doesn’t sling rocks up while you’re going 150 mph. This looks like the kind of trike police would just let pass if it came screaming by. Anyway, pretty cool trike! Monster Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This trike is so large, you won’t be able to do U-turns, but you will be able to go absolutely anywhere on or off road. Seriously what is this thing? Sorry for the low quality image, it’s the best one available. This is a monster trike if I’ve ever seen one. Could you imagine this rolling through the woods while you’re out for an evening hike? It might be pretty cool, especially if you’re tired and looking for an awesome ride home. 355 CI Engine Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This cool looking trike has a 355 CI crate engine with lots of power. That much power could be extremely fun or very scary. We’ll leave that choice up to you. It’s got a cool look and some pretty awesome handlebars. The rear mounted radiator is incredible. Either way, this is a cool trike that we would drive any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Orange is always a good color for a trike. 1,000 HP Rocket Trike

Another cool & unusual trike we found here, check this out! This wild mean looking trike was created by Tim Cotterill in collaboration with the team at Blastolene. Together they created this 1,000-horsepower monster that will hit 100 mph in 4.5 seconds. Could you imagine what that must feel like holding on while it goes 0-100 in 4.5 seconds? What a rush? Could this be the fastest trike on earth? Probably not, but it is pretty darn fast. That concludes our trikes but keep scrolling for something just as awesome!
