Lost and Forgotten Aircraft


We found them. The most stunning abandoned aircraft on earth. From large transport planes and commercial airliners to military fighter jets and helicopters. Some of these abandoned aircraft are so amazing that they’ve become popular tourist destinations. It’s pretty amazing to think of people booking a flight on a plane to go look at another plane, but once you see these you’ll understand.


This abandoned Boeing 737 has become a tourist attraction in Bali, Indonesia. It has been there since 2007.

This Lockheed T2V-1 training plane was found in New Jersey woods. The jet crashed in 1962 and has remained there ever since.

This Swearingen SA-226T was found vandalized and abandoned in a Central New Jersey hangar. The plane had an accident during landing.

This B-24A-CO Liberator was found abandoned on Atka Island. The aircraft had to take a forced landing in 1942. In 1975 the US Navy removed it’s machine guns.
